Programme in India
We are extremely excited
to be introducing
our first
summer programme in India.
This is a first for Project International and a fantastic opportunity to participate in the first of this type of programme. We have found the schools we have visited in India are all very keen on the idea of exposure to other nationalities & cultures.
We will be offering this programme to all our clients in Europe (including England), Asia, South America & the Middle East. Project International will have a significant presence locally, ensuring all elements of the programme work successfully.
Dates
This programme is on hold until 2012
Location
We have selected two sister schools, VENKATESHWAR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS (VIS), both very exclusive private schools in Delhi and within very close proximity of each other.
VIS infrastructure:
- elegant school building in a pollution free, pleasing and friendly environment
exuding warmth and welcome. - hi - tech, state of art infrastructure maintained on international standards.
- a scientifically designed curriculum leading children to a Self Discovery process.
- a holistic approach towards education for a balanced well rounded
personality development of the child. - child-centred and inovative activity based teaching methodology.
- qualified, experienced, dedicated faculty with humane approach.
- low learner - mentor ratio to cater to unique individual needs and aptitudes of the child.
- plethora of activities to harness academic, cultural and sporting talent within and outside the school.
- school owned fleet of sophisticated, comfortable buses.
Programme & Ages
A sample weekly programme is given below but in essence students will be offered EFL lessons in the mornings and full integration in the afternoons with the local students.
English is the main language in the school, of course, so there are huge benefits there. Afternoons will offer drama, music, sports, art, dance & adventure activities. Excursions will be offered at the weekends.
Recommended age range is 12-18.
Accommodation
Accommodation will be in host families.
Students will be “buddied up” with students from VIS and will live with them in their homes within close proximity of the school.
We can also offer Indian Guest House accommodation which is like a large “country house” with a hotel feel to it and with excellent facilities. Students would obviously have their own room. The Guest House accommodation incurs a supplement.
